Choosing your bifold panel layout
Plan how you will use the doorway when it is partly open, fully open and closed.
Describe how you will use it
Tell us whether you need frequent pedestrian access or primarily a fully open garden connection. Do not assume every panel arrangement includes an independent traffic door.
Plan the folded stack
Mark nearby walls, furniture, drains and steps on a sketch. Ask for the actual stack projection and movement envelope for the proposed arrangement.
Use a consistent viewing direction
Specify whether left and right are described from inside or outside. Add an arrow for opening direction to avoid reversing the order.
Check the proposed drawing
Panel count is not enough to approve an order. Review handing, active leaf, hardware and individual leaf dimensions together.
Send your opening details
Tell us the delivery postcode, approximate width and height, preferred colour and panel layout. Your installer must check and approve the final manufacturing dimensions.
