Specifying glass for your ALUNA doors
Choose glass around the complete door performance and the room, then request the final specification in writing.
Describe the room
Explain orientation, shading and how the room is used. Tell the supplier about comfort, glare or privacy priorities instead of choosing glass from a single headline number.
Compare complete quotations
Check whether the quoted performance refers to the glass alone or the whole door. Ask for the figure for the actual size and configuration you are buying.
Review weight and handling
Have the fabricator confirm that the chosen glass and leaf dimensions work together. Your installer also needs an unloading and handling plan.
Record the approved build-up
Keep the agreed glass description, safety requirements and any decorative or privacy finish with the order. Confirm which parts of the product warranty apply.
Send your opening details
Tell us the delivery postcode, approximate width and height, preferred colour and panel layout. Your installer must check and approve the final manufacturing dimensions.
