Supply-only buying guide
Planning the threshold and floor levels
The threshold is a detail to coordinate with your installer before you place the door order.
Draw the floor section
Show inside floor build-up, external paving and the intended drainage route. Give the drawing to the installer alongside the proposed door section.
Discuss exposure
Explain whether the opening is sheltered or exposed to wind-driven rain. Ask for evidence supporting the selected threshold and complete door specification.
Plan access carefully
Describe any step-free access need. Ask your installer to confirm the finished transition rather than judging accessibility from a catalogue dimension alone.
Approve the complete detail
Agree the threshold, cill and sealing detail together. Do not change one after ordering without checking the effect on frame height and installation.
Send your opening details
Tell us the delivery postcode, approximate width and height, preferred colour and panel layout. Your installer must check and approve the final manufacturing dimensions.
